Your role
Are you the driven financial professional who leads projects with decisiveness and lets the numbers speak for themselves? As a Financial Controller, you know exactly what is going on within our company and the companies affiliated with Halma Solutions. You effortlessly switch between details and the big picture, while maintaining a financial overview. You ensure that financial and administrative processes run smoothly, that reports are reliable, and that financial information is delivered on time.
International projects, collaborations, or local process optimizations hold no secrets for you. You connect easily with all stakeholders and bring both structure and energy to our financial operations. Halma Solutions also has an office in Wuxi (China), as well as several participations in national and international organizations, in which you also will play an active role.

Your key responsibilities:
- Preparing budgets and financial plans;
- Preparing, analyzing, and presenting monthly and annual reports;
- Advising the Board and management based on financial analyses (margin analysis per customer/product/assortment), purchasing vs. sales analysis);
- Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial targets;
- Payroll administration and insurance management;
- Preparing monthly and annual closings, maintaining contact with our accountant and other financial institutions;
- Preparing cashflow forecasts, payments, and currency transactions;
- Handling VAT returns and ICP declarations;
- Assessing creditworthiness / advising on new prospects;
- Management of accounts receivable and payable.
This is what you bring
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Control, Accountancy, or Business Economics;
- 5+ years of relevant work experience;
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- Knowledge of international trade and its fiscal specifics;
- Affinity with contract management, legal requirements and their processing;
- A solid knowledge of ERP applications (we work with Wholesale) and Excel;
- Hands-on mentality, you work accurately and are flexible;
- Strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate numbers into clear advice.
- Understanding seasonal or volume fluctuations;
- Daring to be critical of figures and processes;
- A proactive, independent, and result-oriented work attitude.
